Meet the Physician

For eight years Dr. de Asla served as the Director of the Foot & Ankle Orthopaedic Division at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty from September 2004 until joining NCH in 2015. Prior to moving to Naples, Florida, Dr. de Asla was in private practice with, Excel Orthopedic Specialists, in Woburn Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. de Asla interests include travel, cycling, music, and photography. He lives with his wife and three children in Naples, Florida.
